With a multi-platform digital presence reaching over 5 million followers – 88% of whom are women – Bojem actively promotes diverse values through storytelling and community engagement. From its inception, the brand has embraced the philosophy of “Diversity in Harmony, Beauty Without Boundaries,” believing that jewellery serves as a cultural symbol for women’s self-expression and gender equality. Today, women make up over 85% of Bojem’s workforce, with 70% holding management positions – far exceeding industry averages. Gender equality is formally embedded in the employee handbook and enforced through third-party audits.

Development opportunities are assessed based on training participation, satisfaction levels and skills improvement outcomes: Training participation rate reached 95% in 2024; satisfaction with training programmes was at 90%, and 80% of employees reported that the training directly enhanced their job-related skills.

Quarterly employee satisfaction surveys include DEI-specific questions (e.g., perceptions of promotion fairness and training relevance). By Q4 2024, overall satisfaction with DEI initiatives increased by 15 percentage points compared to the beginning of the year.

Through clearly defined metrics, robust feedback mechanisms and an ongoing commitment to improvement, Bojem has built a measurable and sustainable DEI framework that empowers individuals while reinforcing organisational excellence – setting a benchmark for socially responsible leadership within the jewellery industry.

PICS Group Limited

PICS Group was founded in 2018 by Pui In Catherine Siu (GIA GG), a jewellery artisan with over 15 years of experience in the industry. PICS Fine Jewellery is the Group’s handmade fine jewellery brand dedicated to celebrating the unique beauty of rare and underrepresented gemstones. By pairing these gems with high-quality diamonds and expert craftsmanship, the jeweller is able to shine the spotlight on these gems, challenging conventional beauty standards in the industry.

Beyond jewellery, the company is deeply engaged in community-driven initiatives, including charity work, volunteer programmes and educational workshops.

In 2024, the Group collaborated with more than 10 artisans specialising in traditional jewellery-making techniques. PICS ensures artisans receive wages at or above industry standards, recognising their expertise and craftsmanship. These initiatives provide sustained employment and economic stability for artisans who might otherwise struggle to find fair-paying work. More importantly, by valuing their craftsmanship and expertise, PICS helps preserve jewellery-making as a prized art form rather than a fading trade.

PICS allocates 50% of its sourcing budget to gemstone suppliers from small businesses or independent traders, ensuring fair opportunities within the industry. All centrepieces in the brand’s designs feature unique gemstones from non-mainstream markets, broadening appreciation for these rare materials. Several small-scale suppliers that PICS worked with saw increased demand for their gems following the collaborations, helping them attract new clients and expand their business opportunities.

The company also organised three jewellery-making workshops for social good, benefitting Time Auction, Cambodian Children’s Fund and Maggie’s Cancer Caring Centre.
